Help For Dingy Whites
Wednesday April 7, 2004
If your white clothes aren't looking as bright as you'd like then you might want to try this tip from our discussion forum:
"Okay, take your whites and soak them in hot water, with Clorox 2 in the powder form and oxiclean (you can probably use just one of these, I added oxiclean to my Grandma's recipe, she is the queen of stain removal), I let mine soak for 3 to 4 hours. Then I drain the water and wash as I normally do, in the rinse cycle, add some Mrs Stewart's blueing according to the directions on the bottle (this is with the laundry supplies a blue bottle with an older ladies picture on the front). Your whites should look brand new. I will be doing this tomorrow, the girls do not have to wear uniforms Friday and then school is out. " - Honey
