"I am hoping that other parents can give me some advice on how to help my daughter. She is 9, in the 4th grade. Up to this year she has had no trouble making friends. Unfortunately she has had a growth spurt and is quite a lot taller than almost everyone else in her grade and she has put on a little more weight than is good. We have noticed that the girls she used to hang out with no longer seem to want to be around her. I know this is a part of growing up but it is killing me to see my daughter suffer." - Join the Discussion
