Reader's Tip: Baking Soda

Stephanie sent in this handy tip for cleaning hairbrushes and combs with baking soda. Stephanie wrote, "I use baking soda for many things including cleaning our hairbrushes and combs as we all have oily hair. I clean the hair out of the brush and comb and soak all of them in the bathroom sink with about 1/2 cup of baking soda and warm water for about 1/2 hour. I rinse and pat dry them with a towel; no more oily brushes and combs!"
