Easy Indian Headband

Recipes for Kids and Families

From About.com

Supplies

  • Construction Paper, various colors
  • Clear Tape or Stapler
  • Glue or Paste
  • Scissors

Cut brown construction paper into long strips, about 1 inch wide. Put strips around your child's head, and staple or tape the ends together to fit snugly. Then, using various colors of constuction paper, cut out "feathers" in different shapes and sizes. Glue the feathers to the headband. (NOTE: My kids loved these headbands when they were pre-schoolers; even fairly young children can help make these.)
