Growing your own vegetables can be rewarding, fun, and can save you some money on your grocery bill. You don't have to have a large garden; our garden is about 10 feet by 10 feet. We have cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes, onions, strawberries, and peppers growing this year. I live in the desert Southwest, so we have gardens here during the winter. If you live in a colder climate, Spring is the perfect time to start planning your vegetable garden.

This is our entire garden, with my son, Danny, in the background.
