Schedule Your Housecleaning
Make a Schedule

From Apply Now, About.com Guide

I do everything on a daily schedule. I figured out once that I only have to spend about 2 hours a day cleaning this way, and the rest of the time is spent on my other "jobs". Monday is my day off, Tuesday is the kitchen (major) and bathroom (minor), Wednesday is floors (vacuum and mop) and some laundry (towels and socks), Thursday is wash and baking day, Friday is kitchen (minor), bathroom (major) and floors again. Saturday and Sunday are just trying to keep up with my son and husband being home. (Major means full scrub, minor is spray and wipe.) I clean as I go with everything else and make my husband and son put away things when they are done with them. (That was succeeded by packing up what ever they left out and putting it in the attic.) - Aubra
