How To Remove Candle Wax From Carpets

Did a candle drip on your carpet? These tips will help you remove the wax easily.

Time Required: 15 minutes

Here's How:

  1. After wax hardens, scrape up excess with a dull knife.
  2. Place part of a paper bag over the remaining wax.
  3. Place a warm iron over the bag and press gently.
  4. Repeat until all the wax is transferred to the paper bag.

Tips:

  1. If the wax was colored and leaves a stain, pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a rag; gently dab the stain.
