Natural Child Project

Why I Chose this Site
I love the philosophy of The Natural Child Project: "All children behave as well as they are treated." Jan Hunt, B.A. Psychology, M.Sc. Counselling Psychology, developed this site.

Highlights
The Natural Child Project offers many articles and stories about the advantages of raising our children with respect and compassion. One of my personal favorite articles is "The Parenting Golden Rule: One Size Fits All." In this article, Jan discusses some common child disciplining techniques, and what would happen if we used these same techniques on our spouses.

You can also visit the Alice Miller Library. Dr. Miller is a renowned therapist who writes about the importance of treating children with love and respect.

Articles by Naomi Aldort were recently added to The Natural Child Project. Naomi Aldort, an inspiring writer and public speaker is a family counselor who provides workshops for families. Her articles provide insightful and inspiring advice for parents.

And finally, don't miss The Global Children's Art Gallery , where children's art work from around the world are featured. You can even submit your child's art work to be included here.

There are so many more informative and interesting stories at The Natural Child Project. The site is very well-done, downloads quickly, and is easy to navigate. And so, I am honored to present this site with the July, Best of the Net Award for Stay-at-Home Parents.
