Glenbrook Farms Herbs & Such

After working for medical service industry for 23 years, it was a policy change that prompted me to take a look at a home based business. I decided that I had enough of being an excellent employee for someone else. I was going to be my own best employee...and that decision, that promise to myself I believe has made the difference between failure or success.

Once you decide that you are going to be a success ( and you must decide that) you will suddenly start identifying opportunities that were always there but you were to preoccupied to see.

I was at a popular cosmetic "in-home party" when the cosmetic representative asked if I would be interested in becoming a representative. I answered her with a grin and a "No I don't believe I want to work for another company, I want to own the company" and it dawned on me right at that moment to use my love of herbs to create natural cosmetics and toiletries......that's it!!!! When your destiny appears, trust me, you will know it. I was consumed with this sudden passion and this passion still wakes me up in the middle of the night with new ideas.

I developed the first phase of skin care with all-natural herbal soap and Aromatherapy Bath Salts. I get the biggest thrill when a customer picks up a bar of my soap, takes a big whiff, their eyes roll back and then they say I'll take it. This is what a business is all about satisfaction on both sides.

You have to be passionate about what you do and the thing that will sustain your business is persistence. I have a saying on my computer and I would love to give credit to whoever wrote this but I can't remember the author.......

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence
Talent will not: nothing is more commonplace than unsuccessful people with talent
Genius will not: unrewarded genius is almost a proverb
Education alone will not: the world if full of educated derelicts
Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent."
