Count me in for the coordinated back to school promotion. I am planning a newsletter for the start of September with the back to school theme, I could do a list of the sites and a brief explanation of what each is offering in the back to school effort.

I was planning on doing a back to school feature on my site (New York City's Upper East Side), focussing on all of the private schools in this neighborhood. (There are at least 20 private schools and 4 public schools within the 2 square miles of the Upper East Side.) However, I had been planning on waiting until after Labor Day, since schools here tend not to start until the second or third week in September. (Probably the second week this year, since the Jewish Holidays fall late.)
You should definitely count me in, but I would think that we should figure out if it might be wise to at least put off the feature for one more week. My understanding is that schools tend to start earlier in places with agricultural economies, as opposed to us commerce based folks here in Manhattan. However, if most of the target audience won't be starting school until mid-September, then late August might be a bit premature. Anyway, keep me posted and I'll conform to whatever schedule is set...
