Pecan Pie

Pecan pie is a Thanksgiving tradition for many families; here's my favorite recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
  • pinch salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 9 inch pie crust

PREPARATION:

Beat eggs, sugar, corn syrup, salt and melted margarine. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 F for 40 to 50 minutes. Refrigerate pie after baking.
