My Own Ezine

My name is Terri Seymour. I own MyOwnEzine.com, which is a service and resource center to help people learn to publish their own ezine and improve their online business. Lots of free resources, information, home business ideas and much more to help you build an online income.

I was born and raised in a tiny town up in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. I have two brothers and one sister. I was always very shy as a child and to a certain extent, still am. I did very well in school, graduating in the top five of my class.

From high school I wasn't sure where I was going, but shortly thereafter I met my husband and ended up going to Germany. We met in June of 1982 and were married in November of 1982. I then got to live in Germany for six months until my husband, Terry, got out of the Army.

Over the years we had two boys, Jesse in 1984 and Dustin in 1992. We love outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, etc. For the most part, I was a stay-at-home Mom running the house and taking care of the kids. We did our best to teach the old-fashioned values of family and friends to our boys and I think we did a pretty good job!

Late in the 1990's we finally modernized ;-) and bought a computer. I started my first website, Nature's Touch (crafts and gifts) and found out I was pretty handy at running an online business. I then decided I wanted to try MLM and joined a very reputable company. I soon found out that they didn't fill the "need" I had to really help other people get going online. So Web Success was born. Web Success was getting very successful when I started going through a rough time in my life. I felt the best thing to do at that time would be to give up my beloved Web Success.

I sold Web Success and after a few short months, I knew I had to go back online and so My Own Ezine was born. MOE is now my baby and I know I will never voluntarily give her up! Starting over is sometimes hard, but I know I will be more successful with MOE than I ever was with Web Success. I enjoy this business tremendously and look forward to many years online meeting new friends and associates and enjoying more time with my old friends and associates.

I believe in running a business with a pride and confidence that shines through in my work. I like MOE to be a friendly, personal, yet completely professional place where people can get the help they are seeking.

Trust is very important when you own a business, but you must earn that trust. People do not owe you trust and respect. I believe in the Golden Rule - Treat Others as You Would Have Them Treat You!
