For example, apples are really just applesauce(I buy unsweetened). Bananas are very easy to mash. So are canned pears and peaches. You can even give them a quick run in the blender and freeze in ice cube trays. This also works great for cooked vegetables. Just use the cooking water to thin. (The cooking water has a lot of the nutrients in it, too.) Once the cubes are frozen, store them in freezer bags.
