With a one-income family, we have learned to look for the bargains. We have found that we can check out videos or DVDs from our local library for free! Our library does not charge a rental fee for these movies. Check out your local library.

I'd like to second what Angie said about the library. At the library where I work, not only can you borrow books and MOVIES for free, but you can also get CDs and books on tape and you can use the Internet for free as well. Plus, we have all kinds of free programs for kids, especially during the summer, and there is NEVER a charge - everything from football players and musicians to arts and crafts and storytime, and it's all free.
