Ingredients:
- 1 pound round steak (cut into bite sized peices)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1 sliced or chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 10 1/2 ounce beef broth (double strength)
- egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions
Preparation:
Fry up mushrooms and onion in butter until tender, put aside. Brown the steak, then put in broth, ketchup, garlic and salt reserving 1/3 of the broth. Cover and simmer about 15-20 minutes or until steak is tender, mix the remaining broth with flour add to steak until slightly thickened. Remove from heat add mushrooms and onions and the sour cream.This recipe is really easy so I make it often, no one has ever ate it and not asked for the recipe. - Lynn
