Ingredients:
- 2 to 3 pounds cubed beef
- 3 to 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 can chopped tomatoes (any size you desire)
- 2 carrots, cubed
- 1 to 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 sliced or chopped onion
- 1 chopped turnip (optional)
Preparation:
Take some cubed beef, brown it in some flour, then transfer to slow cooker. Add a can of chopped tomatoes, a couple of carrots cubed, celery, onion, one turnip (optional) a little salt and pepper-then add enough water to completely cover all the vegetables and meat. Let cook for approximately 6-8 hours on low or 4-5 on high. - From MarshaSue
