Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large apples, pared
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 8 ounce package crescent dinner rolls
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Cut each apple into 8 wedges. Seperate dough into 8 triangles; cut each in half lengthwise creating 16 thin triangles. Wrap each triangle around an apple wedge. Arrange in a 9 inch square baking pan; drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture and add water. (The water will evaporate, mostly, during baking.) Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with cream, if desired.
