Ingredients:
- 1 loaf frozen bread
- Cinnamon sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 2 Tablespoons white Karo syrup or honey
- Chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.(Note: This can sit in the refrigerator overnight; just warm for about half an hour before cooking.)
Butter 9 x 13 inch pan. Add chopped nuts to syrup, if desired. Cook sugar, butter, and syrup until almost boiling. Pour into pan. Roll out bread into rectangle. Butter well. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Roll up like jelly roll. Slice 1/4 inch thick. Set into caramel mix. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 to 25 minutes.
