Although it's called a pie, this is actually more of a cake. This easy adaptation of the classic Boston Cream Pie is made with yellow cake mix, ready-to-serve pudding, and canned chocolate frosting.

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 cups (1 small package) vanilla pudding, prepared as directed
- 1 can chocolate frosting
Make cake mix as directed on box. Divide half of the mix between two cake pans. (I used the other half to make 12 cupcakes.) Bake for about 21-25 minutes. Cool and remove from pans.
Spread the pudding over the bottom cake layer. Place the top layer on the pudding, and frost the top of the cake only. Refrigerate before eating.
