Cook Time: 15 minutes

  • 2/3 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 1/2 cup white Karo syrup
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream margarine and sugar together.

Add oats, syrup and vanilla. Mix well.

Firmly and evenly pat dough with a fork into a greased, 13x9 pan until flat and smooth.

While dough mixture is baking, Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together in a small sauce pan on low heat. Mix well.
