PREPARATION:Place chicken, water, onions and celery in crockpot and cover on low for about 8 hours. I do this on high for about 5-6 - last hour before you serve you turn it on high if you have been cooking on low. If you used a whole cut-up chicken take it out, let it cool slightly and debone it and cut into large chunks. While chicken is cooling slightly, combine the cornstarch and soy sauce and whisk into the liquid. Add the bean sprouts, bamboo, water chestnuts and molasses, stir well, then add the chicken back and let cook for another hour or so. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles. - MarshaSue More Recipe CollectionsRelated ArticlesChicken and Apples Recipe - Crockpot Entree Recipe Low ...Low Fat Crockpot Cooking - How to Make Low Fat Crockpot...Crockpot Creamy Chicken and Veggies Recipe - Slow Cooke...Chicken Cacciatore II - Chicken Cacciatore Recipe for C...Country Chicken with Mushrooms and Gravy - Easy Chicken... |
