Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) marg. or butter, softened
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups flour (add more if it's too moist)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- 3 cups quick oats
- 1/2 to 1 package chocolate chips
Preparation:
Cream sugars and margarine together well.Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
Mix flour, baking soda and salt; add to other ingredients; mix.
Add 3 cups quick oats, and 1/2 to 1 package chocolate chips. Mix well.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes, 8 minutes for softer cookies.
