One Bowl Chocolate Surprise Cookies

From About.com

These delicious Christmas cookies have a surprise white chocolate center.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Bakers white chocolate
  • 12 squares Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • 1/4 cups butter or margarine
  • 1 can (14 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop white chocolate into approximately 48 bite size pieces. Microwave semi-sweet chocolate and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for about 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted (stir 1/2 way through). Remove from microwave and continue stirring until the chocolate is completely melted. Then stir in milk and vanilla.

Next add flour until well blended (the dough will be thick). Take a piece of the white chocolate and about 1 tablespoon of dough and wrap the dough around the white chocolate. Place on a ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 6-8 minutes-cookies will be soft and shiny but will firm up after they cool. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top. Makes approximately 48 cookies. - MarshaSue
