Eating Out: Supersize Your Order

From About.com

Here's a way to save when eating out at fast-food restaurants; I "supersize" my portion. Ask for a small cups and divide the amount among the kids; same for the fries. They also will cut a burger in half and two kids can share one. Better yet, I have drinks in the car and forgo the fast food soda. A friend at work was surprised by how much he saved using this technique. I also keep an index card with the list of what each family member likes to eat; that way we don't waste time deciding who wants what. - Submitted by Claudia
