Homemade Bubble Bath

From , former About.com Guide

Bubble baths are a good way to get the kids into the bath and save you scrubbing, but the commercial ones are an absurd price when you realize they're only generic liquid detergent in a fancy bottle. Solution: buy one bottle of Star Wars Bath Foam (or whatever the TV is plugging that week), and keep it topped up forever with basic washing-up liquid and a few drops of your favorite scent oil. - Submitted by Anthony

Note: There is some disagreement among parents and other experts on the use of bubble bath. Wynn wrote:

"In response to the post mentioning using detergent instead of bubble bath, since so many little girls (and boys) are prone to infections, I suggest minimal use of bubbles and I wouldn't use dish detergent. I might opt for a mild shampoo instead and I'd put the bubbles in at the end of the bath." - Submitted by Wynn
