Yogurt and Septic Tanks

I live on a well and we have a septic tank, and whenever my son does not finish his yogurt or it goes bad before eating (due to finicky eating habits) I put the yogurt down the toilet and flush. I think the bacteria in yogurt helps out in the septic system. - Submitted by Joan
