Clothes Banks

From , former About.com Guide

I haven't seen anything in here about local clothes banks. They're usually affiliated with churches, and tend to have odd hours, but they're free. No one checks your income at the door, and when I have clothes or other household items to get rid of, I simply take them there. Most of my clothes have been free, and all are of excellent quality. Sure, there's nasty clothes there, but lots of nice things left over from garage sales, and annual closet cleanings. And there aren't just clothes there. Well worth the time and effort. - Submitted by Nikki
