- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 onion, chopped (or minced onion)
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup molasses
- brown sugar, to taste
- 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1/2 cup milk (if meat mixture is dry)
