This meatloaf comes out really moist and has a great flavor with the added molasses.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, chopped (or minced onion)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup molasses
  • brown sugar, to taste
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1/2 cup milk (if meat mixture is dry)

PREPARATION:

I mix hamburger, egg, bread crumbs, onion, minced garlic, salt and pepper and then add some MOLASSES to it. Then topped it with ketchup mixed with brown sugar. It came out really moist and had a great flavor. - Doreen
