Rice and Pork Chops Casserole

Pork chops baked with rice and tomato soup.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 1/2 quart water
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon fat
  • 2 red or green pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • dash of pepper

Preparation:

Boil rice in water, drain. Brown chops in fat (or oil would be fine). Put chops in the bottom of a casserole; add a layer of sliced pepper rings. Add the rice, top with another layer of pepper rings. Mix tomato soup with 1/2 cup water; pour this over all. Bake at 375 for about 40 minutes.
