Oriental Sesame Chicken Salad

Shredded chicken, sesame seeds, slivered almonds and ramen noodles help make this a delicous main dish salad.

Prep Time: 1 hour

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour, 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 packages ramen noodles, smashed
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 4 chopped green onions
  • 1 small grated carrot
  • 1/2 pound cooked, shredded chicken
  • 3 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Accent (for those who can't use MSG, any salt will do)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • seasoning package from ramen noodles
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Preparation:

Toast almonds, sesame seeds and ramen noodles under the broiler until golden brown.

Mix in with the next 4 ingredients. Add the dressing (the last 7 ingredients, mixed together and shaken).

Chill everything mixed together for an hour before serving. - Mat
