Plastic Grocery Bags

From About.com

These tips save money by putting those plastic grocery bags to use.

I am a mother of a 2-year old and find that using plastic bags that you get groceries in make great small garbage bags. Also paper towel cardboard rolls make a great neat way of storing them in your drawer. I just stuff the plastic bags in the roll and pull them out as needed. Not only do you save money, but you're recycling as well. - Submitted by Tracie

I purchased small bathroom-size trash cans for our home, even the kitchen. I now save all the plastic bags I get from shopping and use them for trash bags; it saves money and the trash gets taken out more often using the smaller trash cans. - Submitted by Michelle

To save money on garbage bags for the bathroom or a little wastebasket, use your plastic grocery bag you get at the store. The handles on the bag can be tied up and then tossed out in the garbage can. - Submitted by Debbie
