Sandwich Maker Cornbread

Using Jiffy cornbread mix, you can cook these in your sandwich maker in just a few minutes.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

• 1 8.5 ounce boxJiffy Cornbread Mix
• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup milk
• shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation:

Mix up the box of Jiffy cornbread according to directions on box. Lightly butter the sandwich maker wells. Spread a layer of mix in the sandwich machine and added some shredded cheddar. Then add another layer of batter. Close the lid and baked about 5-8 minutes. It was quicker and easier than heating my over and they were so good! I think adding a little canned corn would be good, too. - Joan
