Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cup mashed potatoes
- 2 beef cubes or 2 teaspoon beef stock
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup grated chedder cheese
- 2 carrots, diced, cooked
- 1/2 cup frozen peas, cooked and drained
Preparation:
Lightly brown onion in a little fat. Add ground beef and brown. Crumble stock cubes or sprinkle on stock powder. Add 1 cup water, carrots and peas; simmer 10 minutes. Thicken with corn starch mixed in 1/2 cup of water. Cook 2 minutes.Spread in baking dish, cover with seasoned mashed potatoes. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees until potato is heated and browned on top.- Sue
