Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 5-6 chicken breast boiled and then cooled and chopped or shredded
- 2 cans of chicken broth or 4 cups of homemade chicken stock
- 1 can of white corn
- 1 can of white beans
- 1 onion chopped and lightly sautéed
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1-2 cans of green chilis
- 1-2 cups of water
Preparation:
Combine everything together. Cook for about 30 minutes until everything is heated through.Fill soup bowls with chili and top with Monterey jack cheese or cheddar and a dollop of green chili sauce.
This chili is not as thick as red chili but is just as tasty. - Marsha Sue
