Prep Time: 3 hours
Ingredients:
- 3 quarts strawberries, fresh or frozen (thawed)
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cups water
Preparation:
Puree the strawberries in a food processor or blender. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the pureed strawberries and the sugar. Let this stand for about 2 hours at room temperature.Add the lemon juice and water to the strawberry mixture. Pour into your ice cream can. Refrigerate, covered, for half an hour.
