Overview:
MOMS Club, International began in 1983 as a support group for stay-at-home mothers and their children. MOMS Club is a nonprofit organization with over 2000 chapters in the United States, as well as international chapters. Local chapters allow at-home parents and their children to meet with similar families in their community.
Goals:
The goal of MOMS Club, International is to form a network of local support groups for stay-at-home mothers and their children.
Local Club Activities:
Local MOMS Club chapters offer at-home mothers an opportunity to meet with other moms and their children. Activities vary depending on the local chapter and can include weekly meetings with crafts and local field trips for the kids and book clubs and Moms Night Out for the mothers. Most clubs also participate in fundraisers for the community.
Costs:
Local MOMS Clubs set their own dues and the cost is usually about $20-$30 (U.S.) per year.
