This is a recipe for making two pumpkin pies, a traditional Thanksgiving dessert for your family.

Total Time: 1 hour, 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 Frozen Pie Shells
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon mace
- 2 cups pumpkin or squash (canned)
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups evaporated milk
Preparation:
Add sugar, salt and spices to pumpkin and mix thoroughly. Beat eggs in
Blender separately then add evaporated milk and blend together,
Then put in with pumpkin and spice mixture in mixing bowl. Poor filling
into pie crusts.
Bake in very hot oven 450*F for 10 minutes THEN REDUCE temperature to 350*F and bake 40 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean. - Autumnleave2
