This Thanksgiving side dish has green beans mixed with sour cream and topped with cheddar cheese.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cans of green beans-drained
  • 1 carton of sour cream
  • 1/4 cup finally diced onions
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • cheddar cheese

PREPARATION:

Melt butter in a corning ware dish and add flour to this; cook for about a minute or two. Then add the 2 cans of drained green beans, onions and salt and pepper. Mix in sour cream and place in a 325 oven for about 20 minutes-or in microwave for about 5 minutes or until thoroughly warmed. Top with cheddar cheese and put back in oven or microwave to melt it. - MarshaSue
