Frugal Tips: Drying Clothes

Amy emailed this tip for saving money: "I had my husband install a clothesline in my basement for drying clothes in the winter. No freeze drying outside, and the extra moisture in the house is a great bonus in the winter--no need for a whole-house humidifier. To avoid stiffness in clothes, use a small amount of diluted liquid fabric softener."
