Blues Clues
Homemade Halloween Costumes

From Barbara Whiting, About.com Guide

Recently several visitors to our discussion forum have shared some ideas for creating inexpensive, homemade Halloween costumes. Paula shared the following ideas for Blues Clues costumes.

"Ok, I've decided to make both of my children 'Blue' from Blue's Clues. I know I couldn't make one of them it without the other. So this is how I think I'm going do it:

Buy a baby blue colored sweatsuit (if I can find that color), and some darker blue felt. Cut the felt into circles and hot glue them all over the sweatsuit. Take some baby blue material and cut out ears and tail. Stuff and sew (I'll get my mom to do that part, I can't sew) then put some 'spots' on them with the felt. Glue the tail to the rear of the pants and glue the ears to a headband.

I'm pretty sure that'll work, if I can only find some sweatsuits in that color."
